It's not really that surprising, since the fourth one *just* came out.
I'm sure the press release was timed that way specifically.
I personally am boggled - I thought it was a joke, or someone proposing an
idea - although hopefully this will pull more kids into LEGO. I hope the
fad lasts long enough for it to work!

A close friend of mine works in a children's bookstore, and they opened at 12:01am on Saturday (the release date of Harry Potter IV) until 1 to sell the book. The line wrapped around the corner (...)
