I takes 15-20 sec. to fill up the tanks and afterwards you can operate a pneumatic cylinder every 2.5 - 3 sec. for about 15 min. while the compressor is running coutinously. (...) (...) Since only wanted 2, I opted for Onyx & Power (they have the best merge). Power: Blade & Surge Onyx: Blast (missile launcher guy) and...Blast. So I'd say it's probably random and I got screwed. (25 years ago, 22-Jun-00, to lugnet.technic)

I've seen lots of designs but none have enough power, air-wise. I need pressure and volume! I made a good one once using two of the large spring loaded pumps. But that was using really old technic motors.... the mindstorms motors are much to weak to (...) (25 years ago, 22-Jun-00, to lugnet.build, lugnet.robotics, lugnet.technic)

Michael, The first set you described sounds like it could be the 8422. I picked it up recently and it is a nice model with 300+ pieces. It is very similar to the blue 8417 motorbike. Keith Blumenthal (...) (25 years ago, 21-Jun-00, to lugnet.technic)
