Yes, I would prefer real pneumatic cylinders too! And longer like these. It seems a way to enable "easy" motorization of these elements, instead of developing a new PF pneumatic valve electrically controlled. Perhaps also a cheaper approach... I (...) (16 years ago, 6-Jan-08, to lugnet.technic)

Personally I am really quite enthused by the linear actuators, for me the actuators represent a new variant to the lego system that will enable significantly better positioning than with pneumatic cylinders and will also not suffer from the (...) (16 years ago, 8-Jan-08, to lugnet.technic)
