Mike,
Just recently the topic of rubber band gun out of LEGO came up here at the
office and I was thinking of making one this weekend. Your idea sounds good
and simple, but I'm having trouble picturing the design. Could you supply a
pic or diagram? Or maybe just some more verbal detail, it's probally much
simplier that I'm making it out to be or maybe I'm just dense today.

| (...) I experimented with this a while ago. I managed to fire a 10 stud axle about 5 meters using an elastic band setup with a beam stricking the axle. However, this didn't give a very gun-like contraption, and I never quite perfected a trigger (...) (24 years ago, 8-Jun-00, to lugnet.technic)
