So far I've come up with a design for a 64 stud diameter slew ring (using
monorail track) and a design for the feet. You can find some pictures in this
gallery: http://wegmuller.org/v-web/gallery/Lego_Walking_Dragline
I will add some pictures as the build progress. More in depth commentary will be
included in my blog/main page: http://www.wegmuller.org

David Wegmuller

I don't envy you, building a walking drag line mechanism. All that weight on two
linkages and their bearing surfaces.

Good luck anyway. I'm sure a lot of .Technic readers have though of building a
large dragline.
