  5278 out of stock? discontinued?

I ordered 2 of the 5278 35 piece chain link accessory set from Lego at $4.00 each. Today I Got an $8.00 refund check from Lego saying that this set was either discontinued or out of stock. I was really hoping to get this accessory set. Has it been (...) (25 years ago, 4-May-00, to lugnet.technic)

Re: Alternative construction with 8445 Indy car

On purpose, I only used parts from the set. I had to use a few not-so-lego-cool solutions to get spacing and placing right, but that's just the MOC spirit I guess.. The finished model looks OK on the outside though. Jepsen Ron Sedlmeyer skrev i (...) (25 years ago, 4-May-00, to lugnet.technic)

8001 Battle Droid - Mini Review

I'm not crazy about the Star Wars LEGO - at least not the Episode 1 stuff. Most of that feeling has to do with the fact that I was disappointed in George Lucas's vision that he had 20 years to develop. I thought the movie stunk. Anyways, I was out (...) Well, since someone started asking this, I'd like to know which sets have this pulley in brown? I've seen people use them in Castle structures. -Andy Lynch (25 years ago, 3-May-00, to lugnet.technic)

Re: Insides of new technic motor

I had one mess up and took it apart. I stupidly threw it away, but I can describe how to. On the four corners, take a small screw driver and wiggle the little peg off. WARNING: THE MOTOR CAN NOT BE PUT BACK TOGETHER!!!! The peg is plastic and should (...) (25 years ago, 3-May-00, to lugnet.technic)

  Insides of new technic motor

Purely out of interest, has anyone dismantled a technic gear motor? (The new grey ones) I have taken the back cover off one that has jammed, but I cannot remove the round black thing just beneath that. I am interested to know exactly what goes on (...) (25 years ago, 2-May-00, to lugnet.technic)
