Hi Lars. Did you get any private replies on this? Did you find any help?
I have the mentioned alternative model standing built in my office, with the
top you're mentioning. It looks like the picture in the 8445 building
instructions, but it is of course a MOC (My Own Creation), and that's the
good side of the new type of 'we show you the basics, you build the rest'
instructions. That makes it hard for me to split it apart.. (Nice marketing
move, TLG. ;)
Lars, if you want me to, I can take some digital photos of the model, trying
to show the details you are unsure about. The back of my MOC looks like a
cross between the New Beetle and a Porsche.
Lugneteers, if wanted, I'll give the BrickShelf galleries a shot with the
pictures.
Anyone interested? (Besides Lars)
