The 8653 set does in fact have a V12 engine(light gray cylinder blocks) If you
look in the rear hatch, you can also see 2 yellow axle extenders that are taking
place of where the shocks are supposed to be(I guess for the visual effect of
shocks). Also those discs in the front are supposed to represent fans.(I have a
model of the actual Enzo that I used for my model)
There is definitly a "Hand of God" steering system, but if you look at the 2
newest pictures that I have just found, you can clearly see that the actual
steering wheel does nothing! it is attatched with a Blue(Steve's favorite) axle
pin. This is a very big let-down in my book.
At least the steering system in the Ferrari F1 worked both the steering wheel
and the front wheels.
It looks like rather than TLC making the prototype better, they just added stuff
for the visual appearance instead of the mechanical model that we all wanted.
I can't wait to get this and take pictures of it next to mine.

The rear wishbones show the wheels are attached with (...) (20 years ago, 15-Feb-05, to lugnet.technic)
