A while ago I’ve purchased two "Pneumatic Pump Small" in Bricklink ((URL)), in light-gray color (real Lego color, not painted). (...) Work 'em a few cycles and see if that helps. Otherwise it might be the rubber seals that are stiffening from age. Sucking some sort of lubrication into the piston is quite feasable. Now these look good! Too bad they don't have lenses. Lego needs to make bendable window pieces that can be buckled to fit any shape.
