  Simple locking mechanism
 
Hi, I have rather large 'doors' which tend to open by theirselves. I need something small (2x2x2 studs max) and simple which would lock the doors in close position. I think about usage of friction, I definitly wouldn't like something which creates (...) (20 years ago, 19-Dec-04, to lugnet.technic)

(...) Nope, those are garage doors, rubber-band actuated ;-) I just wanted to make good replacement for those expensive lamel garage doors parts, so I basically copied the doors I have in my garage. The problem is that also in reality the doors (...) (20 years ago, 21-Dec-04, to lugnet.technic)

Do you have a pic of the doors? I'm having trouble to visualize... Initially I was thinking a simple drop latch made with technic...kind of like (URL) but made with say, a short axel and a couple of liftarms like the 41677. -Rob A. (...) (20 years ago, 22-Dec-04, to lugnet.technic)
