  Re: SSClagorpion

I just had a silly, yet kind of cool idea. I'm not sure what you know about the Spybots, but if you have two Spybots, then from Spybot A, you can tell the direction, distance, and orientation of Spybot B. (yes, from A you can tell which direction B (...) (20 years ago, 27-Apr-04, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: New MOC: 8-wide 'car'

No, and even if it was, the insides would just spin and the wheel wouldn't move at all :D (...) ---...--- Only when you try to build with Mega Bloks or you try to make a Lego compatible cutting board do you realize the tremendous quality of Legos.   New MOC: 8-wide 'car'

Here is a unicycle (I'm not sure what to call it) I have made from an 8466 tire :) (URL) me what you think, -- Peter ---...--- Only when you try to build with Mega Bloks or you try to make a Lego compatible cutting board do you realize the (...) (20 years ago, 27-Apr-04, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: SSClagorpion

(...) If we use 3 large cylinders each with an area of 0.2 square inches per leg, and the expected force is 5 pounds per leg, then we get a required pressure of 8.3 pounds per square inch. If we use two large cylinders, we'll need 12.5 pounds per (...) (20 years ago, 26-Apr-04, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: SSClagorpion

(...) Like Mark said, there's going to be quite a bit of weight on the main cylinder. That's where you're planning on having several cylinders to hold the weight, right? So, you're looking at about 5 per leg, 8 legs, or 40 cylinders? (plus other (...) (20 years ago, 26-Apr-04, to lugnet.technic)

RCX.NET lets you program directly from .NET code

Hi guys! Some weeks ago I was trying to build a remote controlled (web page) camera using my RCX and .NET. I tried many libraries and no one worked ok. Then I decided to built my own .NET library, and It worked perfect. Now I'm sharing this with (...)   Re: Generic replacement for flex hose

(...) Yep I agree it's not cheap, but it's WAY cheaper than LEGO flex hose on bricklink - even if you take the cost of paint into consideration! I asked the guy at the model shop I got it from about longer lengths, he said they can't put it on reels (...) (20 years ago, 24-Apr-04, to lugnet.technic)

(...) There's also this, which may be the same stuff: (URL) is 0.40 each or 10 for 3.75 (0.375 each) I spoke to a supplier at a model railway show today. He was selling individual white styrene 3.2mm tubing about 14" long for 35p (50c?). I didn't (...) (20 years ago, 24-Apr-04, to lugnet.technic)
