I've said it before and I'll say it again: if you want to avoid this then
don't use air tanks in the pneumatic circuit. A motor powered compressor
will give the smooth movement and (relatively) precise control required
here, especially with two large cylinders connected together.

(...) This is probably the best fork lift I've seen made in LEGO. It sure put's LEGOs own version to shame! I like how you managed to fit every function in there, it's not *that* much room. You caught the looks of Lindé trucks well too! And the (...) (22 years ago, 8-May-03, to lugnet.technic)
