  Re: Too much crane?

(...) Hm... I saw the chromes piece but I did not know it was a light sabre handle :) I always thought a light sabre was red or green shining stick :) /Tobbe (URL) (23 years ago, 4-Mar-02, to lugnet.technic)

RE: New OOC: Motorized 14 wide Jeep Cherokee

(...) Thanks! This is mostly a "Model Team" creation though, it doesn't have quite as many of the Technic components Jennifer would include, nor does it have a good Technic frame...although with a little more work, it probably could. We got kind of (...) (23 years ago, 4-Mar-02, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: MOC: RT16 Radio Telescope

(...) squeezed into such a small space. (...) No I don't think you missed anything, but I would request that you not put spaces in your URLs - some browsers can't handle that. ROSCO (23 years ago, 4-Mar-02, to lugnet.technic)

  MOC: RT16 Radio Telescope

This is my first (presentable) MOC. Completed in roughly 5 days (12 hours); the RT16 is designed to resemble a Radio Telescope. It is approx. 24" tall x 12" x 12" and fully RCX controlled (horizontal rotation and dish angle). Pictures and (...) (23 years ago, 4-Mar-02, to lugnet.technic)

Re: Technic MOTM needs a new name.

(...) Not exactly - neither Lugnet nor Ldraw actually have the word LEGO in them. And note that LEGO *have* acted exactly that way WRT legOS. ROSCO (23 years ago, 4-Mar-02, to lugnet.technic)

Re: Pneumatics: the old and the new

(...) Exactly! (...) That's right! (...) Oh oh! Methinks you have not had the simple pleasure of playing with a hand pump (the new type of course) and an air tank like in the 8250 Submarine or 8462 Tow Truck or such like. Try it! (...)   Re: Technic MOTM needs a new name.

(...) This is not just picky, this is completely out of line considering that if Lego acted the same way (and there are legal precendents from other companies), we would have no Lugnet and, of course, no LDRAW. How about TCM - Technic Creation(s) of (...) (23 years ago, 4-Mar-02, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: Too much crane?

(...) I'm not doing anything like that on my current project's cab, but I'm 95% certain that I'm gonna break the habit of a life time and modify a part.   Seeking Part ID for Helicopter Rotor Assembly in 8444, Air Enforcer

Hi, The subject: line pretty much says it all. I've been unable to find a BrickLink reference for this part and the search engine is so lousy now that I couldn't find there it even if I did know what it was called. :( The assembly comes as two (...)   Re: Technic MOTM needs a new name.

(...) How about: EXPERT BUILDER of the MONTH for two reasons: 1) Expert Builder is, of course, the original name of the Technic series of sets. 2) This name would recognize not only the model, but the model's creator. Or would, in fact, allow you to (...) (23 years ago, 3-Mar-02, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: Too much crane?

  Re: Too much crane?

Thanks Tobbe! (...) It did get quite tricky right enough, but I have to say that using some of the newer types of technic pieces really helped here.
