  New Technic MOC: Dornier DO-228

Soooo, the next model: a Dornier DO-228. I wanted to build an airplane, and the DO-228 is well suited to build a Lego model of: It has straight lines, not a 'round' fusilage etc. Also, I wanted to build something larger than a Pipercup or something (...)   Re: Pneumatics: the old and the new

Wow!! That is a fantastic model, it's a shame they're not produced anymore - I wonder if TLG would be capable of manufacturing parts which function the same way as the old ones did? If it were possible to obtain new parts that performed the same (...) (23 years ago, 2-Mar-02, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.robotics)

  Re: Still under development

(...) *smiles* No, the design is brilliant :) (...) Yup, took me something like 30-45 min. to gather the pieces, then I took a brake and made and published the vote page for TMOTM, after that it took me another 120 minutes to build and upload the (...) (23 years ago, 1-Mar-02, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: Still under development

(...) Before I clicked the link I thought you'd just rendered it in white, then I realised you'd actually built it :) (...) As soon as I read that paragraph I knew exactly what you meant, and of course your absolutely right. Yours is so much better (...) (23 years ago, 1-Mar-02, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: Still under development

With best regards from Sweden I give you the first Swedish Steve Lane Bulldozer, all in white (almost) to make the snow photos tomorrow even worse :) Or one could also say it's in UN vehicle painting :) (URL) I loved building it. I had to do a few (...) (23 years ago, 1-Mar-02, to lugnet.technic)

Re: Bionicle comic #4, The Bohrok Awake! (Some questions)

(...) In the online game, they all had their gold masks by the time they got to Kini Nui. I don't think every detail of the plots are going to be shown. And even those that are shown are full of inconsistencies. The non-toy materials are more like (...) (23 years ago, 1-Mar-02, to lugnet.technic.bionicle)

  Re: Still under development

(...) I looked at the motor in the dat and it was just as you described, I've changed them all to grey so it's fixed now even the one you can't see :-). (...) Yes you can see it but I'm gonna leave it like that. (...) The device you mention is (...) (23 years ago, 1-Mar-02, to lugnet.technic)

Pneumatics: the old and the new

Hello pneumatics fans, I have been working a lot with pneumatics lately, and have made some interesting discoveries. I think the most notable is a method of using the old style red cylinders with the new pneumatics system. I came across this as I (...) (23 years ago, 1-Mar-02, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.robotics)

Bionicle comic #4, The Bohrok Awake! (Some questions)

1. The Gold Kanohi- How did the Toa get them? According to Bionicle # 3, gold masks combine the energies of all 6 masks. But the Toa didn't have all of the regular masks before Bionicle #4- Tahu has no mask of levitation, for example. Were the gold (...) (23 years ago, 1-Mar-02, to lugnet.technic.bionicle)
