One thing I would suggest trying (on a tube you can afford to loose!) is to put a piece of wire (or whatever) in the tube, and then put it in a sunny place for a day. Somewhere like a well lit window-sill. Allow it to cool by itself at the end of (...) (23 years ago, 23-Nov-01, to lugnet.technic)

i know this is a little late to mention this but, when i got the 2nd bionicle comic, tucked away in it was a ccg card. any one else get a "free" card with thier comic? (23 years ago, 22-Nov-01, to lugnet.technic.bionicle)

They are hollow, so you could insert a straigt wire of a more rigid material, maybe a thin type of knitting needle (the ones used for socks, pointed at both ends) Maybe it even helps to let a tube reinfored this way rest for a couple of days. (...) and (...) and (...) Ok, here's what I do :-) You are correct in saying these things are almost never straight, in fact I think the key to their use is to assume that they will *never* be straight. Look at them as splines with the only means (...) (23 years ago, 22-Nov-01, to lugnet.technic)
