  Re: Bohrok!

(...) That is probably a coincidence, all 6 names are permutations of a few sounds. Coincidences do occur. The new names make me think of Vulcan... Tuvok anyone? Maybe even, GASP, Turok? Son of stone! that's pohatu to y'all... Turok Son of Stone was (...) (23 years ago, 30-Oct-01, to lugnet.technic.bionicle)

  Re: Bohrok Speculation

I dare say that those feet look small enough to fit in the slots underneath the Toa's feet... I like that idea. But how would it work for Pohatu? (...) (23 years ago, 30-Oct-01, to lugnet.technic.bionicle)

(...) Uh... I am reeling. Surely there was a better solution somewhere in the middle. Is this why the video game was cancelled last week? Time to go into denial. Yes, serious denial, and I am not even a Bionicle collector! Of course, there are (...) (23 years ago, 30-Oct-01, to lugnet.technic.bionicle, lugnet.dear-lego)

  Bohrok!

After annoying the Maori by using names from their culture, LEGO sets it's sights on the world's largest Muslim nation, Indonesia. Bohrok is the name of a river and a wildlife research station in Indonesia. From (URL) LEUSER One of the largest (...) (23 years ago, 30-Oct-01, to lugnet.technic.bionicle)

(...) Maybe they are trying to avoid "hurting the feelings" of some tribe somewhere, but perhaps they should consider the hundreds of thousands of kids who will be disappointed that their favorate toy will be gone. (23 years ago, 30-Oct-01, to lugnet.technic.bionicle, lugnet.dear-lego)

CRAP! CRAP! CRAP! CRAP! CRAP! CRAP! CRAP! CRAP! CRAP! CRAP! CRAP! CRAP!

This is EXACTALLY what I said would happen! ((URL) only thing left open by the article is if LEGO will continue the line with new names, but that's not very likely seeing as names in contention are main characters and all. I am so ticked off about (...) (23 years ago, 30-Oct-01, to lugnet.technic.bionicle, lugnet.dear-lego) !

  Re: Bohrok Speculation

(...) We'll need to wait for Tim to get us some better scans, but to me the feet don't look like the Toa feet at all...they look almost "built" (dare we hope for the integration of System pieces? Nah!). The storyline so far has different Rahi in (...) (23 years ago, 30-Oct-01, to lugnet.technic.bionicle)

  Re: Bohrok Speculation

I don't think you're on to something, if you look closely, they have the same size feet as the Toa, that gives you the size perspective, they look smaller than the Toa actually, but wider. I believe that they are Rahi. (...) (23 years ago, 30-Oct-01, to lugnet.technic.bionicle)

  Bohrok Speculation

The new Bohrok sets, as seen in Tim's scans at FBTB ((URL) reputed to be the "spiders" we have seen pre-production sketches of recently. Good, bad or Rahi...we don't know yet, but here's what I think I see: Exo-suits! Don't these look like armored (...) (23 years ago, 30-Oct-01, to lugnet.technic.bionicle)
