(...) Brilliant!! I was actually expecting a bit more debate, but you've rounded off this part of the thread very neatly. (...) I'd be more interested to know if it can crack a hundred MPH!!!   Longest Instructions?

Just opened my Silver Champion. Now I don't have an 8448 or any Mindstorms but I wondered if the Racing truck alternative model was the first Lego model to crack 100 instruction steps. Is this a record? Psi. (24 years ago, 9-Jul-01, to lugnet.technic)

I've just replied to the message on /. that namechecked me (this fame will quickly go to my head!) so I'll keep an eye on that to assist with targeting it. (...) What we could do with is a short web page 'A quick guide to the basics of Lego' This would be invaluable for people who wish to comment on Lego but do not have the experience we enthusiast's have.   `Why Britain needs more Meccano and less Lego'

Hi all, This is sure to cause some controversy and stir up some discussion on this forum: (URL) discussion of this over on /.: (URL) I'll just sit back and watch the sparks fly, I think.   It isn't the same! (was:Re: scanning for new parts)

I could be mistaken but I'm pretty darn sure it's not the same part! The new (currently yellow) piece has a larger hole through which some kind of u-joint moves. It also has an extra bit of plastic between main body and the extended ball joint, (...) (24 years ago, 9-Jul-01, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: Bionicle At Walmart!

(...) Nice. I'll have to check my local WalMart. The two TRU's around here still only have Toa and mask packs. Shouldn't the Turaga have been out by now? (24 years ago, 9-Jul-01, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.technic.bionicle)
