  Re: New Website

Hello again Thank you for your compliments. It's a good feeling that my site is accepted by the Lego community. This will give me additional motivation to do more. The next thing I will add to my page is a "news" link where you can find a list with (...) (24 years ago, 27-Jun-01, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.modelteam)

Re: A campaign for sun and planet gears

(...) Yeah! Orreries rule! Check out: (URL) pic: (URL) quite a good one of a simple orrery that only models the sun, earth and moon. I'm sure it would be possible to use a turntable or 40t gear and then put gears on the arm to change the gearing to (...) (24 years ago, 27-Jun-01, to lugnet.technic)

Re: A campaign for sun and planet gears

(...) Hi Elijah. Have you seen this: (URL) and the fantastic bit of work by Leo Dorst found at the link in the top part explain how you can use a worm gear to make a piston device in two different ways. For Lego, they set aside shelf space for Harry Potter (and even made some mockup boxes with images - (...) (24 years ago, 27-Jun-01, to lugnet.technic.bionicle)

Re: A campaign for sun and planet gears

(...) ME TOO!!! (...) Yes, there are many other parts that we'd like Lego to create. Don't forget this old message and the responses it generated: (URL) were many ideas posted for new parts as well as modifications to existing parts. T. J.   Microscout question (was Re: Sale items at Dick Smith)

(...) I've read bad things about the microscout - mostly that it won't do the job of a simple motor and run continuously, however ISTR that if you cover the light sensor, it will happily run continuously - albeit in one direction only. Can anyone (...) (24 years ago, 26-Jun-01, to lugnet.loc.au, lugnet.technic)
