Re: How to strengthen friction peg?

Purists will wretch, but I've found that running a #4-40 screw through the center and securing it with 2washers, a lockwasher, & a nut works *VERY* well... Flame me if you must, but it's better than breaking precious LEGO(R) parts : ) "Steve (...) (24 years ago, 19-May-01, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: Technic Wheels

(...) You are right. There is no better Technic wheel and tire than the 24x43 --> (URL) years I have wanted more--there is not much you can do with just 2 of them. __Kevin Salm__ ....Lego enthusiast for over 20 years.... . (24 years ago, 19-May-01, to lugnet.technic)

  Technic Wheels

What is everyone's favorite type of Technic wheel? (tire and hub) I like the 81.6x34 ZR ones the best. (these come with the 8857 Street Chopper and 8880 Super Car) I know many people here also prefer the 24x43s and the older type of 20x30s... (...) (24 years ago, 19-May-01, to lugnet.technic)

Here's my various opinions about the various subjects in this thread: First, the fonts. I like them a lot ( except for the bionocle one-eww)! I can't wait for more!   Re: How to strengthen friction peg?

(...) Don't feel bad--a lot of purists aren't comfortable with the incurson of non-LEGO metal into the brick, but others among us think it's pretty darn cool! I, for one, don't especially care for the over-proliferation of click hinges in all things (...) (24 years ago, 18-May-01, to lugnet.technic)

Re: The Toa now officially hit the US

Hi again, sorry, I should have been more precise. What I meant to say is that the main page www.lego.com (right when you enter) announced that the Toa will hit the US by next week. Preorders accepted now on the six heros, to be shipped by 23 May (...) (24 years ago, 18-May-01, to lugnet.technic.bionicle, lugnet.admin.database)

Re: 5110 Cross Axles and Couplers

(...) Ehm. Perhaps I should have done this check before I questioned your facts: (URL) indeed looks like they are threaded cross axles with 12 nuts! Finally I can replace those I broke in my 8851 Excavator set... /Tobbe (URL) (24 years ago, 18-May-01, to lugnet.technic)
