So, like an idiot, I leave the keys to my 8448 SuperCar on my desk, and my two new Fire Promo Sets from Bionicle hijack this high performance vehicle... (URL) looks like they had to pull the stock seats out to accomodate their back gear and their (...) (24 years ago, 30-Apr-01, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.technic.bionicle)

  Re: springless pneumatic pump

Yea, I kinda figured the big punp wasn't too good for the compresor pump. I did see that on your page, but I figured I'd try it anyhow. Part of my problem (and I'm kinda ashamed to say it) is that is actually the only pump I own, large or small. (...) (24 years ago, 30-Apr-01, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.robotics)

Re: LoTek, a new Technic homepage with some new MOC's!

(...) This is good stuff Tobbe, I am looking forward to spending more time exploring the site as it is immense! I really enjoyed your reviews of the sets, you definitely have a flair for "telling it like it is" in that department :-) I'll have a (...) (24 years ago, 30-Apr-01, to lugnet.technic)

Re: Call me a Lego pureist if you will but...

(...) I have wondered about this occasionally, as admittedly I have yet to find any use for these parts in my own creations, but I most often end up thinking it is due to my mindset being locked in the "old ways" rather than the parts being (...) (24 years ago, 30-Apr-01, to lugnet.technic)

Re: First Nestle promo CDs spotted!

  Re: springless pneumatic pump

(...) Agree'd, I'd destroyed mine when I snipped off the spring only to have it not work well at all. I have a great 4 pump motor pack now. PSI! Dean -- Coin-Op's For Sale!: (URL) Lego Workshop: (URL) Lego Club: (URL) (24 years ago, 30-Apr-01, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.robotics)

  Re: springless pneumatic pump

(...) I guess I'd better own up to prevent more people wasting their time and effort trying to remove the spring from the large hand pump. I think we have all been badly misled by the picture of the Recycler on the bottom of the RIS 1.0 box which (...) (24 years ago, 30-Apr-01, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.robotics)

  Re: springless pneumatic pump

I've seen a website somewhere... A guy has done some real good testing (with help of RCX) regarding the performance of several pneum. pumps. Simple conclusion: the small one from Lego is the best, just use that one and leave the large ones with (...) (24 years ago, 29-Apr-01, to lugnet.technic)
