Conical gears in all the standard gear sizes, PLEASE!!!! Bring back the half bushings with the teeth, and put teeth on more of the lift arms. It's too hard to do anything at angles other than 90 degrees. (24 years ago, 16-Apr-01, to lugnet.technic)

Using a toothed half bushing, it's easy enough to convert a gear with toothed hole to a axle hole gear...It might be cool to inset the hole so that the hole would be as wide as a half beam, thus (...) Hello, I have built both LSD and manual locking diff. Both were simple AND worked very well, BUT they are not realistic; I mean that they do not work the way the real LSD and locking diff. work. I'm still working on that... One of my creations is a (...) (24 years ago, 16-Apr-01, to lugnet.technic)

That sounds familiar. When I think up a new model, I invariably have that one critical piece that requires modification. Without the piece, the model just wouldn't work. Try www.brickbay.com. You can sometimes find individuals selling large quantities (Bricks by Terry- lots of red 1x10 and 1x12). Do a search for 1x16 beams to find someone offering a large quantity. Is there anywhere that technic beams can be got in large quantities? (Esp blue/green/red) Apart from the ebay auctions which have variable quality assorted beams (with say 40 pieces!) More like 25/50/100 of 1x16 etc. Do lego sell these at all? TIA (...) (24 years ago, 16-Apr-01, to lugnet.technic)
