The 8480 Space Shuttle comes to my mind. But you'll probably find that most pre 1998 Technic sets included instructions for motorization with the old style motor. Go to Brickshelf to see for yourself. Fredrik (24 years ago, 10-Apr-01, to lugnet.technic)

(...) Yeah, this motor usually needs to be geared down two or three times to get a sufficient amount of torque. Most of the official sets seem to use pulleys and rubber belts rather than gears (probably because these are much quieter than gears) but (...)
