Hi I did some 'research' in this area about three years ago for the control of a pneumatic robot arm. It was quite simple positional control ie position the piston at any point in the cylinders stroke and hold it there. The controller was just a PC (...) In trying to find the water pump piece, I noticed that when you release the lightstone on a school of fish, it makes the fish that are touching it change direction and scatter. Wel, with all theexcitement with Gali, I noticed something new a minute ago...The observatory has changed! All the panals have moved! Now it goes: Pod, Tahu, Gali, Rahi, Onua, and so on from there! Perhaps you should let John Barnes answer for himself. Different people have different approaches here. Dave Baum, for example, has spent huge amounts of effort on NQC and has been quite happy for people to use his invention. (...) Whoa. Not entirely correct. You can do accurate positioning with pneumatics, it's just harder to do than with hydraulics, because you have to take air compressiblity and seal "stiction" into account if you want to hit an arbitrary position that's (...)
