In trying to find the water pump piece, I noticed that when you release the lightstone on a school of fish, it makes the fish that are touching it change direction and scatter. Perhaps you should let John Barnes answer for himself. Different people have different approaches here. Dave Baum, for example, has spent huge amounts of effort on NQC and has been quite happy for people to use his invention. (...) Whoa. Not entirely correct. You can do accurate positioning with pneumatics, it's just harder to do than with hydraulics, because you have to take air compressiblity and seal "stiction" into account if you want to hit an arbitrary position that's (...) (...) I wouldn't say that at all. Its just that you'd need a good supply of compressed air (there's plenty of compressor designs about) and a good feedback mechanism.
