  Re: Missing water pump piece?

(...) Yes, it has to appear in the backpack open the backpack first, then move the gear into the open menu bar. (24 years ago, 22-Mar-01, to lugnet.technic.bionicle)

  Re: heh...does anyone do this?

(...) I don't usually swap colors, but I did do the silver 8448 thing, when I got a copy of that silver technic accessory kit. The real killer was getting rid of the light gray pieces, they didn't mesh well with the silver. Steve (24 years ago, 22-Mar-01, to lugnet.technic)

  heh...does anyone do this?

swap out the key color pieces on your technic models? for instance, I just swapped out all the red on my 8448 with silver and black pieces, replacing those ghastly white chairs with some cool black leather ones...I used silver plate pieces for the (...)   Re: Missing water pump piece?

OK, I found the gear, how do I pick it up/install it? When I click on it, I am brought back to the ladder. Should the gear appear in the backpack? Erik (24 years ago, 22-Mar-01, to lugnet.technic.bionicle)

Re: Base 6 math [was Re: Missing water pump piece?]

While the digits are base-6-ish they are used as base 10. i.e. "10", made up of a "1" and a "0", comes after "9". It would be kind of cool if it really were base 6, but no doubt Lego doesn't want to confuse the non-math inclined people out there. (...) (24 years ago, 22-Mar-01, to lugnet.technic.bionicle)

Re: are bionicle for sale yet?

  Re: Analogue Control of Pneumatics

(...) Also made more difficult because the displacement at the connecting rod end is less than at the other end, and it also tends to leak more, especially when under pressure. ROSCO (24 years ago, 22-Mar-01, to lugnet.build, lugnet.general, lugnet.technic)

  Re: Analogue Control of Pneumatics

To make LEGO properly hydraulic, some kind of real hydraulic fluid pumping system would be needed. And it would have to take either water or a special hydraulic fluid. I believe it may be possible to achieve control with airflow alone. But I would (...) (24 years ago, 22-Mar-01, to lugnet.build, lugnet.general, lugnet.technic)

  Re: Analogue Control of Pneumatics

(...) I haven't made anything whith that system yet, the observasions was made on a test setup, but i am thinking on makeing an stational robot arm with it, sinse it has to be connectet with the water tank. To illustrate the setup i have just made (...) (24 years ago, 21-Mar-01, to lugnet.build, lugnet.general, lugnet.technic)

Base 6 math [was Re: Missing water pump piece?]

The math symbols on the Bionicle dictionary indicate a base-6 system (heximal?). The numbers 0 through 5 are all based on a circle with a dot in the middle. 6 through (presumably) 12 are the same as the 0 through 5 but with a circle around the (...)
