I’ve always been a fan of space, but I never really managed to get down to doing anything in the theme as of late as it was too abstract for me (Although I did a lot of stuff as a kid, my memory and definition of what spaceyness was got wiped out (...)   Please critique my truss designs

Greetings, Technic builders! I have been very impressed with the giant bridges and cranes that you folks can build. Now I am working on a model that requires a truss. The model is minifig scale, so I care about the look of the truss, as much as its (...) (20 years ago, 8-Mar-05, to lugnet.technic, FTX)

Re: Ackerman steering geometry : How do you make it ?

If I'm not mistaken, didn't the Lego Technic sports racer from 1995, set 8440 also have a type of Ackerman steering? (20 years ago, 8-Mar-05, to lugnet.technic)

(...) How big is the box? Is it bigger than the Backhoe's one? FWIW last year I bought 3 8386s and I paid 69EUR for air shipping. That was before 8386 became available in NA.
