| Nate- The mobile cranes I know that use V6 engines are: 1)Terex-Demag 2)Grove These two both use a Daimler Chrysler OM 906 LA V6 in the crane operator's section, and both use a Daimler Chrylser OM 502 LA V8 for the main drive. If you want to find (...) (20 years ago, 26-Feb-05, to lugnet.technic)

| I was only talking about big rigs. Do European tractor trailers actually have V6's? Do their mobile cranes actually have V6's? | This whole GBC hasn't really inspired me at all. But thats what's so good about Lugnet, differing opinions are, if anything, encouraged. Theirs nothing wrong with GBC, but I've found the few posts offering alternatives far more intriguing, (...) | Maybe I'm crazy, but don't most trucks with a 6-cylinder engine have the cylinders inline? Every Lego truck or crane has a V6. Their designs have been like that for over 10 years. Is this just because a "V" fits in well, or do European trucks (...) (20 years ago, 26-Feb-05, to lugnet.technic)

| I've been working with Steve Hassenplug and others to hammer out the GBC standards, but sadly I've *yet* to make it to an actual GBC event.
