I've been working with Steve Hassenplug and others to hammer out the GBC
standards, but sadly I've *yet* to make it to an actual GBC event. Well, here's
an example of some more modules, so far only tested at home. Warning, this is my
first Brickshelf folder, and the files are... larger than they perhaps need to
be. But detailed. Anyway, LMKWYT:

There are four modules here, all in compliance with the Type I standard. The
first (Cascade) uses a tilted baseplate that can be quickly swapped in and out
(the idea being that kids can build 32x32 baseplates, and have them swapped into
the GBC to see there own "work in motion"). The second is based on a
SMART-compliant crate and a RCX-driven forklift that reads barcodes. The third
is narrow and incorperates a splitter - both downstream branches can be
independantly directed to the right, left, or straight ahead, and since the
module is narrow (10 studs wide) it can allow left or right turns. The final
"windmill" module was an attempt to make a "Technicless" module. The only
Technic bricks used are 2 1x2's with a single hole, and a compact geartrain.
And I just got a train yesterday. Fun fun fun. I'll be bringing all this
(and, mostly likely, more) to the House of Bricks event I posted an announcement
about earlier.
