  New pics

New pics of the telehandler are available. Are they satisfactory? The Bimba piston fits well, except there is so much weight while under load that the crab steering does not work very well. Eventually the boom will need more height. The tractor (...) (20 years ago, 6-Nov-04, to lugnet.technic)

Re: Mercedes Benz Actros 1840 Strawtransport, Scale 1:13

Hi Anders, It's a very nice model. It's very life like because you've added lots of details. And the opening doors are a nice detail as well. Now you can have a good look into the driver's cab. And do they want to buy your model? I think it suits (...) (20 years ago, 6-Nov-04, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.modelteam, FTX)

  Re: Big Truck

I recently saw this truck, and I must say it is huge! My only qualm with it is that it, along with all the other big technic trucks I've seen on Brickshelf, always use independent front suspension. As for compliments, I'd have to say that's a nice (...) (20 years ago, 6-Nov-04, to lugnet.technic)

  Big Truck

This guy is good. I think this is the biggest truck ever put on brickshelf. What does everyone else think? (URL) (20 years ago, 6-Nov-04, to lugnet.technic)

This is great! Very life like. Nice execution of design. A friend and I toured your new site. You do nice work. Very well done. e (20 years ago, 4-Nov-04, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.modelteam)

  Re: three mountainbikes

(...) I really like these, Lars. Perhaps the black bike needs the front forks at a greater angle to increase the wheelbase? Otherwise, it's close, but too square as you mentioned. Still a great model, though. Thanks for sharing, Ed (20 years ago, 4-Nov-04, to lugnet.technic)

  three mountainbikes

Three mountainbikes - all with front suspension. (URL) made these a long time ago - I just never came round to putting the images up :) Yellow: The bike for long trips - with drinking bottles, head- and taillights, bell, computer etc. Grey: The (...) (20 years ago, 3-Nov-04, to lugnet.technic)

Mercedes Benz Actros 1840 Strawtransport, Scale 1:13

Hi Everyone, Here is my latest creation. (URL) You might notice, its not a crane, and therefore my LEGO site is now changed from LEGO Mobile Cranes to LEGO Trucks & Cranes. It is a 1:13 scale model of a Mercedes Benz Actros 1840 Strawtransport. It (...) (20 years ago, 2-Nov-04, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.modelteam, FTX) !!

Re: Bionicle print error in instruction book 8602

(...) You guys get a comic in the back? Huh. Do you get the Kanoka Cards as well? (...) Odd little mistakes like this aren't all that uncommon, actually. There's one source for the Bohrok-Kal that shows Tahnok-Kal, Nuhvok-Kal, and Pahrak-Kal with (...) (20 years ago, 1-Nov-04, to lugnet.technic.bionicle)

Bionicle print error in instruction book 8602

Not that it's a huge issue, but the instruction book for 8602 has a 'comic' in the back--Toa Nuju and Toa Nokama names are switched for their 'mugshot'. This is for the 'Canadianized' version (english/francais text) of the set--maybe it's printed (...) (20 years ago, 1-Nov-04, to lugnet.lego, lugnet.technic.bionicle)

  Pneumatic cylinder rust.

Is there a way to preserve lego pneumatic piston rods? I have 30 pistons and many of the rods have gone from silver to dark gray. Is there a special oil or grease that would remedy this? I know it would probably take 15 or 20 years for them to rust, (...) (20 years ago, 1-Nov-04, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: 8865 and 8475

(...) I used the bottom 'slower' one for the 8466 (...) I did this mod a long time ago, but from what I remember, I got rid of the dark grey liftarms and pointed the motors towards the front. I can't remember what other modifications I had to do to (...) (20 years ago, 31-Oct-04, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto, lugnet.technic)

  Re: 8865 and 8475

(...) So which hole did you use when you RC'd your 8466? I still couldn't totally duplicate your setup with mine built with the main chassis...   LDRAW

Hello y'all- I seem to have a bit of a problem about this on POVRAY. When I'm rendering a design, there is a window that appears where there is a stick figure guy running (for 'run'). So far however, this window has become very convoluted with names (...) (20 years ago, 30-Oct-04, to lugnet.technic)
