  Re: JCB JS220 Excavator

(...) Hello Here is a link to a MLcad file: (URL) 2.mpd I don't have enough Lego pieces to build the whole thing so I have been experimenting with what I do have and then building in MLcad.   Re: Gearbox 8860 trouble

(...) Waking up more and actually running off to find the instructions and looking at 'em... Step 17--don't put the 2x3 plate in, instead, use a 2x2 plate and don't cover up the third space for the stick shift... Rest of the steps are fine. Hope (...) (21 years ago, 27-Dec-03, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: Gearbox 8860 trouble

(...) remove the 2x4 plate, then use whatever blue plates so that the stick shift can be in 3 separate positions I built this car with 3 gears many years ago... that's how I did it (iirc ;) ) Dave K (21 years ago, 27-Dec-03, to lugnet.technic)

  Gearbox 8860 trouble

Hi, I´m having a slight problem building the gearbox on the 8860... How many gears is it supposed to have? It is technically able to have 3, but if you follow the instructions its impossible to use more than 2. Check this scan of page 16 out and (...) (21 years ago, 27-Dec-03, to lugnet.technic)

(...) Hi Jonathan, What exactly is your problem? Doesn't fit the arm to the superstructure or is the superstructure too weak? Do you have pictures of your work in progress? Dennis Bosman (URL) LEGO Trucks & Heavy Equipment> (21 years ago, 26-Dec-03, to lugnet.technic, FTX)

  Merry Christmas

Hi all, I hope that this time of year finds all well. I'm still lamenting Travis' death. To those who celebrate it: Merry Christmas! Kevin (21 years ago, 25-Dec-03, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: JCB JS220 Excavator

(...) Simply amazing! The superstructure design and detail is so close to the real JS220 that at a glance it is difficult to discern between real and Lego. What makes it more amazing is the amount of mechanical stuff underneath the superstructure. (...) (21 years ago, 24-Dec-03, to lugnet.technic, FTX)

  Lego Flight

Hey I'm back at it with the start of a new glider. Right now its just being built, though I am trying some new ideas. The biggest new feature will be air foil shapped wings. I do have one question though. Do you guys think that a rough air foil (...) (21 years ago, 20-Dec-03, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: New Williams

(...) Cool looking model, Matthew... but I've got some questions: I can see some kind of steering. How does it work? How could you add steering to those real A-arms (and not having to do that using the conventional method) and fit it to the narrow (...)   Re: I was thinking about bipedal walkers this morning and....

Lots of responses to my post, so I'm following up my own post to address all of them. A lot of people are pointing out that this has been done before in the field of robotics, but what I was actually asking about is if it's been done before in (...)
