  Re: Ziggurat: a floating-arm trebuchet

(...) [...] (...) I suppose, since I got the cable modem, I'm less sensitive to low-bandwidth users than I was when I had dialup. I didn't want to shrink the pictures too much, or the text would be too small to read. (...) There is a small movie of (...) (21 years ago, 5-Nov-03, to lugnet.technic)

Re: New MOCs: 2 Large Cranes

(...) These are really impressive. The thing that impresses me the most is getting something as large as these cranes to support their own weight, let alone lift anything, being as large as they are. I wonder how many parts the MSG 50 uses :) (...) (21 years ago, 5-Nov-03, to lugnet.technic, FTX)

  Re: new design for microwalkers

(...) That's cool, I especially like the chameleon. It looks like you've created a new species with that one, the bipedal chameleon :) I tried a mini t-rex walker based on MM2 a while ago, but it was a little bulky because I included the battery (...) (21 years ago, 5-Nov-03, to lugnet.technic)

Re: New MOCs: 2 Large Cranes

Sorry TJ for not reacting earlier on your newest post. Although I already mentioned it in my mails, I must again say that I am impressed by your latest creations.   Re: Ziggurat: a floating-arm trebuchet

(...) That's very cool and nicely explained, but jeezopeetes those images were HUGE! I'd love to see a movie of it being fired. I'm sure it's an impressive sight. Adrian (21 years ago, 4-Nov-03, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: Gyro- advanced biped

(...) Actually, Tobbe had it right. The thing is that there are so many movies hosted on BrickShelf that they are a serious drain on the resources. So, Kevin decided to only enable movie downloads when the bandwidth consumption is low, like late at (...) (21 years ago, 4-Nov-03, to lugnet.technic)

Re: New MOC: Scania Garbage Truck

(...) Hi Reinard, Scania trucks seems to be very popular to build. Reinards model is also a very well succeeded attempt of the Swedish manufacturer. (3 URLs) Of course, just like all the others, I would like to know how the pneumatic steering works. (...) (21 years ago, 4-Nov-03, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.modelteam, FTX)

  Re: Ziggurat: a floating-arm trebuchet

(...) Many thanks. I optimized the design for launch distance, and whatever points I got for repeat launch rate or accuracy were a bonus. I think Pat scored highest on launch rate, so the scores ended up fairly balanced. The videos came from the (...) (21 years ago, 4-Nov-03, to lugnet.technic)
