Re: Cool Lego Site of the Week

(...) I'm enthusiastic about lugnet and Bionicle but the pointless sniping at Bionicle took a lot of the shine off lugnet for me. That and the endless "technic is dead / not dead" noise. (22 years ago, 20-Feb-03, to lugnet.technic.bionicle)

  Re: Moc: Digger

(...) The two top ropes work very similar to the ropes on Pehter's digger. The cut is away from the machine instead of towards, so the rope is on the top of the crowd "linkage" instead of the bottom.   Re: Drill and Hooklift Truck Renders

Those renders are awesome - at first I thought they were photos! It took me a while to examine the pictures before I could convince my eyes that they were renders.   Drill and Hooklift Truck Renders

I've added a couple of new renders to my website, with much of the inspiration coming from fairly recent developments with radiosity mentioned in the lugnet.cad newsgroups. Thanks God someone started this thread (I was maybe shy...) but I've got some things to say... The only good (and relatively cheap) Technic sets that were available here in Colombia were the 8437 and 8459.... and that was in 1997-1998.... after (...) (22 years ago, 19-Feb-03, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: how many creators

(...) I have been disappointed in LEGO lately. It seems they are giving in to low mentality, cut to the chase, parts and sets. I remember when there was a lot of technic on the store shelves.
