  Pulley drive

Maybe it's a stupid question, but I have to make it. I've been working on my neverending sports car using no specialized parts (u-joints, Lego differentials, special suspension and gearbox parts, etc) (so I have to use my own built-up diff)... The (...) (22 years ago, 12-Feb-03, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: Moc: Digger

(...) In fact I think there is one about 15 minutes driving from home, perhaps time to extend the pipeline even further :) However, I think you should have incorporated the bucket tilting into your model. If you look at the real Åkerman it has a (...) (22 years ago, 12-Feb-03, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: Moc: Digger

(...) I know I did one in LEGO when I was a kid [1] that I showed at school - about grade 4 or 5 I think. Keep up the good work! ROSCO [1] I wish someone had thought to photograph some of the models I made when I was a kid... (22 years ago, 11-Feb-03, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.loc.se)

  Re: Supercar Gearboxes

You can download the whole 8448 from this link: (URL) 'tear it apart' on the screen. I know there is also a DAT file of the 8880 somewhere on the net, try searching for "8880" + "dat" in the Technic news, I think that's where I got it from. Regards, (...)   Cool stuff at Lego Outlet

Hello everyone, I just got back from the Lego Outlet at Discover Mills, (678)847-6078. They just received a huge shipment and I thought some of the folks here might be interested. They have received the Imperial Star Destroyer, the Black Seas (...) (22 years ago, 11-Feb-03, to lugnet.market.shopping, lugnet.technic, lugnet.town, lugnet.trains)

  Moc: Digger

Since I do not have any pneumatic left for the moment I have made a modell from the 50:s wirecontroled diggers. After having seen one irl I was amazed by the control the digger have. Must say that after some practice you can have really precision on (...) (22 years ago, 11-Feb-03, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.loc.se)

Re: Dear lego, please make technic accessory packs.

(...) There seems only a few of the Dacta retailers cary the service packs, the one closest to me is in Denmark (I myself live in Sweden). Best regards, /Tobbe (URL) SPAM when e-mailing) (22 years ago, 11-Feb-03, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.dear-lego)

  Re: Supercar Gearboxes

(...) You could of course build them :) Just put in the parts you think are needed for the transmission and leave everything else. I had a hard time comprehending the 8448 transmission holding it in my hand... Best regards, /Tobbe (URL) SPAM when (...) (22 years ago, 11-Feb-03, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: Liebherr 954 tracked excavator

(...) I have a Liebherr 954 in my pipeline :) But no specific crane as of yet. I also have a Volvo Excavator, perhaps I should start with that one when I get around to making an excavator. It seems my pipeline is growing and growing and... Well, to (...) (22 years ago, 11-Feb-03, to lugnet.modelteam, lugnet.technic)

  8448 Rally Car

Just recently I thought of a great idea for a vehicle. I want to take the 4x4 parts of the 8466 and put them in a 8448 body, and create a rally car. I hope to finish it and post pics in about a month. I just want to know what people think of it. If (...) (22 years ago, 11-Feb-03, to lugnet.technic)

  More Speeds in 8448/8466 Gearbox?

I want to know if this has been tried before: Can the 5 speed + reverse 8448 gearbox be made into a 6 or 7 speed + reverse? I am going to attempt to build it, but it would help LOTS if I knew if it were done successfully before. If you have done (...) (22 years ago, 11-Feb-03, to lugnet.technic)

  Supercar Gearboxes

Can anyone provide me with a LDraw file of the 8880 Supercar's transmission, simplified to just the basics? I have looked over the instruction book for the 8880, and I think that some gears look like they are part of the transmission, but I am not (...) (22 years ago, 11-Feb-03, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: Liebherr 954 tracked excavator

(...) Yes, very nice. The bucket is awesome. You know, besides seeing a lot of crane MOCs, we also see a lot of Liebherr excavators ;-) -TJ (22 years ago, 10-Feb-03, to lugnet.modelteam, lugnet.technic)

  Re: promissed hovercraft ver02

(...) This is Really neat!!!! I noticed it seems to drift to one side (the heavy side) as you point out. Perhaps this could be used to steer it. Could a small weight that is shifted to the direction of travel be possible? Best regards, Paul (...) (22 years ago, 10-Feb-03, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: helicopter not done

I seriously think you can't use LEGO parts to make a propeller. It needs an airofoile shape, like an airplane wing. It needs to be thick towards one edge and thinn down on both sides. You can only get so efficient with just a plate. Is the (...) (22 years ago, 10-Feb-03, to lugnet.technic)
