RE: 8558 - naming colors and parts

Sounds like the B/Link parts bion001 and bion002 - (URL) - but what the official/Peeron part numbers are I do not know regards William -----Original Message----- From: news-gateway@lugnet.com [mailto:news-gateway...net.com]On Behalf Of Niels Horn (...) (22 years ago, 21-Sep-02, to lugnet.technic)

8558 - naming colors and parts

Hi, Just bought two sets 8558 - Cahdok & Gahdok. never bought any Bionicle set, this one is going to be for the parts (and I found them mispriced at about US$8,00 each!). After building the model just for fun, I started cataloging the parts. Now I (...) (22 years ago, 21-Sep-02, to lugnet.technic)

Re: Help needed for hopper feed assembly.

(...) I'm missing something here: why not just let them fall off the end of the mechanism as the tread goes around the sprocket? (...) I built something similar for moving soccer balls, and discovered that it's not a great idea to try to put the (...) (22 years ago, 21-Sep-02, to lugnet.build, lugnet.technic)

  Re: Has anyone found...?

As a matter of fact, yes. The large links pictured here: (URL) your description, and they are even made by Lego. They are out of production, but I notice that there are many for sale on Bricklink (pricey, however). I have quite a few of these (since (...) (22 years ago, 19-Sep-02, to lugnet.technic)

Hi All, I am not a regular poster here but I came up with something I thought might interest you. I was contemplating the new Galidor figures and got to thinking about what the Bionicles reaction might be. Here is my link, it should go public soon. (...)   Re: 8472 - a quick look

I just saw this listed at US S@H. You're right, the parts look really nice, the price doesn't. I sure hope we see some of these parts showing up in partspacks or cheaper sets soon. I know I'd LOVE to get a bunch of those trans-red bent beams to (...) (22 years ago, 18-Sep-02, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: Has anyone found...?

I'm just looking for something a little less vulneralble to failing under accidental stress (i.e. - binding of parts), and at the same time use that same feature to be able to support much more weight as could regular chain links (not conveyor (...)   Re: Has anyone found...?

(...) Assuming you actually mean chain and not track links then I have two idea's. You could double up the chain, using two side by side. Or Theoretically if you used larger gears the chain would (apart from being slightly longer) move faster, (...) (22 years ago, 18-Sep-02, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.robotics)

  Has anyone found...?

A heavier duty chain that would work in the place of the current chain links Lego manufactures? -Rob (22 years ago, 18-Sep-02, to lugnet.technic)
