A heavier duty chain that would work in the place of the current chain links

Or Theoretically if you used larger gears the chain would (apart from being slightly longer) move faster, (...) (22 years ago, 18-Sep-02, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.robotics)

| As a matter of fact, yes. The large links pictured here: (URL) your description, and they are even made by Lego. They are out of production, but I notice that there are many for sale on Bricklink (pricey, however). I have quite a few of these (since (...) (22 years ago, 19-Sep-02, to lugnet.technic)
