(Who was that wise man that once said "You cannot have 'too many' legos."?)
It was a wise woman, and I have been saying it for years.  I just never had
group support before.  Thank-you internet.

Wise indeed. My only problem is that I want all my blocks whereever I am. I
need to come up with a travel kit that has a good assortment of parts for what
I want to do, and stays organized easily (1). I have a number of the TLG
suitcases, as well as three of the black/yellow suitcases but none of those
stays organized well enough. If you turn a black yellow on its side, sometimes
the dividers collapse, and of course, the red/green/blue/purple/black ones • have
no dividers at all.

I am not familiar with the suitcases you described.  But when I need my Legos
to travel I use the small storage bins which can be stacked.  Each color to a
bin.  I can stack several on top of each other and strap them together with a
strap, like the ones you use to attach the sleeping bag on a backpack. Two
straps at 90 degrees is pretty secure, and a handle.  Or I just pile all the
smaller bins in a large one and make my husband carry it.  Actually I came up
with the bins for carrying rocks to elementary schools to teach geology.  I had
to keep the bins small to keep the weight down.  For the small theme pieces I
use the plastic divided relish trays you can find at any grocery store.
Thanks for the note, and I have thoughly enjoyed your web page.
Make it a good day.  Louise
