Yeah! Thanks. The nearest Lowe's is 2 hours away in Illinois. I phoned up Mills
Fleet Farm (WI/MIUP, MN) to see what they can get me, and it's not all bad.
Still no 18 drawer unit though. I can get the 37 drawer unit and the 15 drawer
with tippers.
Illinois story: we called up the nearest IKEA (we put about $10,000 in IKEA over
the years) which is in Schaumburg, IL, to see about more STEN shelving units.
STEN is no longer on the website. Oh sure, no problem, they said. So I sent my
crack team of STEN commandos on the mission. Four hours later, cell phone call,
no STEN in stock. It cost me $250 in R&R (outlet shopping) to bring the
commandos home happy. Still no STEN. Not to be dismayed, I purchased Swedish
wood and a lot of "STEN bolts" at Home Depot. 72 hours later I was finishing up
my STEN clones. I love my clones, but I will not make another one, as the
materials cost was the same as getting them retail, and my back hurts!
