Yes..... I think you are true......As you said it's only the beginning.
We have released first version as fast as we can.... so people could suggest
us new features and improvements as you did.
We are working hard to do better and more "flexible" interface. The windowed
version is one of our first goals.
The mouse wheel is an easy one to fix..... and will be "more simple" to
locate the parts.
The quantity input is another "must fix".....
The new version will include all your suggestions (and other features). We
find them good improvements for lstock.....
And don't worry about DB version.... it will be 100% compatible with future
releases.

Hope you will enjoy lstock in the next version
Thanks for your support

A good beginning, but there are a couple of major barriers that will prevent
me from using this program.

1. I don't like anything that takes over my screen like this.  Necessity
dictates that I be running many programs at once and be able to switch
between them quickly and easily. (BTW:  I can tab off of Lstock, but can't
tab back onto it sucessfully)

2. My scroll wheel doesn't seem to work at all.  I should be able to scrool
through the lists using my scroll wheel.

3. Cannot directly input the quantity.  Is seems to want me to use the
scroll bar, and at that it only goes up to 100.  I have more then 100 of
just about every piece I own.

That's as far as I got with the program.  The first one is the big one
though.  No program should take over my system like that.

I really dislike the Windows-centric attitude inherent in the Lstock design. With such dependence on hardware there is (probably) no way this will be runnable (under an emulator) on MacOS or Linux. Please try to make your code more cross-platform (...) (22 years ago, 17-Sep-02, to lugnet.storage)
