  Re: cleaning transparent pieces

(...) Awesome idea! (...) Zac - Brasso is a smelly, ever-so-slightly abrasive polish for - you guessed it - brass! It will take the decals off of bricks that you would like to be plain, too. (very slowly) You have K-mart in Australia? Try finding (...) (23 years ago, 13-Jun-01, to lugnet.storage)

  Re: cleaning transparent pieces

(...) What exactly is Brasso? I live in Australia so I don't know any of these American brands. Zac Soden ---...--- www.ozbricks.com/battlespace (23 years ago, 13-Jun-01, to lugnet.storage)

  Re: Large Quantity sorting?

(...) My mom refused to buy me one. She made me one instead. Except she used really cheap cloth instead of denim and the grommets she used came out very easily. I use an old sheet nowadays when I want to play on the floor, and pour the contents into (...) (23 years ago, 13-Jun-01, to lugnet.storage)

  Re: Large Quantity sorting?

(...) This statement I can agree with completely. The next statement I must comment on: (...) I agree that "oversorting" as you name it causes more difficulty when putting pieces away, but it is definitely an advantage when trying to get to the (...) (23 years ago, 12-Jun-01, to lugnet.storage)

  Re: Large Quantity sorting?

(...) Hmm, sorting is for you what it is for us all, that which works best for your given situation. I have all my basic bricks sorted by color and sixe, put into Zip-locks and thrown into big tubs. (1500 peice blue tubs for off colors) I then have (...) (23 years ago, 7-Jun-01, to lugnet.storage)

  Re: Large Quantity sorting?

(...) all (...) Definitely, dual or triple color sorting systems work very well. For example, I sort all 6x plates into Black with Gray, Yellow with White, Blue with Red. Same goes for 4x plates. My 2x and 1x plates are sorted as Red with Black and (...) (23 years ago, 7-Jun-01, to lugnet.storage)

  Re: Large Quantity sorting?

(...) Some of my akro-mills (and Plano) bins include drawers about six or eight times as large as a standard drawer. I use those. Sure, I still can't fit all my, say, 1x2s of a given color in one, but I can fit enough to build stuff. The rest hide (...) (23 years ago, 7-Jun-01, to lugnet.storage)
