| Has anyone stored LEGO outside for a long time, and if so, did it have any effect on the bricks? I ask because I'm considering my garage as a suitable venue for my collection. I'm running out of places to store the increasing assortment of pieces, (...) (25 years ago, 6-Jan-00, to lugnet.loc.uk, lugnet.general, lugnet.storage)

| (...) When your collection gets big enough, you will find these boxes totally inadequate for basic brick sorting. My bricks are in quart and gallon sized Zip Loc Slide-Loc bags (actually, I've been switching to Hefty's bags, their slider is better). (...) (25 years ago, 6-Jan-00, to lugnet.storage)

| On suggestion from this group I went out an purchaced a couple of Plano 3700s and had a few questions on how people sort thier pieces into them. | (...) They (can) look much like a traditional feather duster, only the "feathers" are very fine plastic filaments. For some reason they seem to come in bright colors (mine are bright green).
