  Re: Dacta Storage

I didn't know that Dacta had special storage bins that you could buy separately (and empty) -- is there a website where I can take a look at these? I know a fourth grade teacher who had a critical mass of simple machines and other kits in the red (...) (25 years ago, 9-Nov-99, to lugnet.storage, lugnet.dacta)

  Re: Dacta Storage

Due to the cost of these, I've not had any experience with them. I think tha tyou'd be better served with cheaper non-lego storage boxes. Just my thoughts though...   Dacta Storage

I was thinking of buying some of the Dacta storage bins. Does anyone have an experience/comments on these? Thanks, Asher (25 years ago, 7-Nov-99, to lugnet.storage, lugnet.dacta)

  Loft storage of LEGO

I've accumulated a lot of new sets in the last year, and haven't had time to open them all. I was starting to run out of space during the summer, so I thought about storing my collection in the loft. I live in a brand new house, built to the latest (...) (25 years ago, 6-Nov-99, to lugnet.loc.uk, lugnet.storage)

RE: I'm sorting by color now!

(...) For those of you that saw me at Mindfest, you may have noticed a rather large tackle box I was carrying. It's the Plano 1258 Guide Box. See (URL) for more info. What's great about this box is that the top is trans-blue so you can see inside. (...) (25 years ago, 5-Nov-99, to lugnet.build, lugnet.storage)

  RE: Dremel on plastic?

Re: Cutting with Heat.... Another faster, higher-power, easier to screw up with approach is to use the 'old' Weller type "soldering gun" which uses a resistance-heated copper tip. You can replace the usual tip with a 3 or 4 inch long piece of #16 to (...) (25 years ago, 5-Nov-99, to lugnet.storage)

  RE: Dremel on plastic?

(...) See my web page on "cutting" soft plastic boxes with a soldering iron. You have to go slowly, but the resulting cut is much better than with a dremel tool. I know, I've tried almost all methods. (URL) Cheers, Ralph Hempel - P.Eng ---...--- (...) (25 years ago, 4-Nov-99, to lugnet.storage)

  Dremel on plastic?

Hello all, I've found a reasonable storage solution for my technic bits. At the local handyman store (Clas Ohlsson here in Stockholm), they have boxes with various size compartments that can be closed and locked. I think they are made by Raaco. All (...)
