(...) Mario, You've got me on a pet subject, so I'll jump in. The Technic suitcase is a marvel of useless engineering. The dividers are flimsy, the trays don't stay in one place, and if you drop the case, you'll have to sort out the parts again - (...) (26 years ago, 9-Mar-99, to lugnet.storage)

As a general "life note to the wise": If they don't specifically TELL you that the item in question is acid-free/archival quality/whatever, IT ISN'T. And you would notice a price difference; i.e. the cheap card sheets as opposed to the UltraPRO (...) (26 years ago, 5-Mar-99, to lugnet.storage)

You can count me as yet another AFOL that "discovered" that Plano "tackle" boxes were *really* intended for Lego storage! My wife showed me a cheap way to get plastic storage bins for storing small parts. They're not as versatile as the Plano boxes, but a lot cheaper. In craft stores they sell boxes for storing embroidery floss for $1 or $2. They have 18 small (...) (26 years ago, 19-Feb-99, to lugnet.storage)
