  Re: Sorting/Storing Catalogs

I once had a request for knowing the codes for metric(European) paper sizes. If you want those, I will be happy to post them here. A4 would be much easier than 210mmW x 297mmL anyday!!!! (...) You have over 20 years of LEGO Catalogs?!!!! :) You've gotta realize. I just turned 25. 22 is exciting enough for me! Sarah (26 years ago, 29-Sep-98, to lugnet.storage)

  Re: Storing the goodies.

I use a combination of methods for storage. For standard bricks I use the Lego bins from 3026 sets, each holding a single size. Within them I have the bricks sorted by color and stored in Gladlock plastic bags. I then have several large Rubbermaid (...) (26 years ago, 29-Sep-98, to lugnet.storage)

  Re: Storing the goodies.

I use a variety of storage solutions to meet the many needs I have. First, I have plastic boxes about the size of shoebox containers for bulk pieces (e.g., Technic beams). Second, I have recently found a line of wonderful organizers at Home Depot (...) (26 years ago, 29-Sep-98, to lugnet.storage)

(...) Whoops! :) No... I mean 36, MINUS some extras. That is, I have 36, and some of them will be extras because I only have 22 or so years of catalogs. --Todd (26 years ago, 29-Sep-98, to lugnet.storage)

(...) Gee, I feel so inadequate now... all I use are the the 3026 containers for storage... I've got essentially three full containers for each of the five primary colors... Scott (26 years ago, 29-Sep-98, to lugnet.storage)

(...) That's so cool to hear! I don't have to feel guilty or weird or anal for doing the same. :) There was a wicked good sale that Staples (local office superstore) had on 1/2" three-ring-binders last summer and I bought 36 of them so I could have (...)   Storing the goodies.

For Lego elemnts, I use the blue/red storage bins from sets 545, 56, etc. These are great 6/9 compartment bins that use a 16x32 baseplate as the lid. For catalogues and Mania Magazines I use ring binders with sheet protectors. (26 years ago, 28-Sep-98, to lugnet.storage)
