Just when your reachin’ the point where things get manageable an ya have all the sets you need from a particular series…along comes another new line, or the 2002 sets go an wallop you in the ‘ead!!! ;) Now I gotta (...)   Re: A5 & A6 size instructions storage

Hi, I have been searching high and low for A4 sheets split in half for A5 instruction storage. No success yet, but I have found a number of web vendors for A4 sheets. Also I've found some photo sheet protectors that are basically a standard 8.5 x 11 (...) (23 years ago, 14-Dec-01, to lugnet.storage)

Re: Diary of a sorting man

(...) I know how it feels, but it's also a good way to get into spending time with Lego. Like, some days, I get home and I just feel like flopping in front of the television. Sorting lets me do a little bit of working with the bricks, without a (...) (23 years ago, 14-Dec-01, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto, lugnet.storage)

Re: Diary of a sorting man

(...) My problem is I never get any building done because I'm always sorting... I am slowly winning the battle though (of course 2002 LEGO is here or on the horizon and clearance season is comming soon, so I might lose ground). (...) I totally aggree. As an owner of an 8448 supercar, an 8444 air enforcer, an 8001 battle droid, an 8002 destroyer droid, many smaller technic sets (throwbots, bionicles, roboriders etc), a fair number of starwars and life on mars sets, my 4561 (...)   Re: Diary of a sorting man

(...) Excellent! I've had similar experiences myself. It took what seemed forever to sort my Technic, but it pays off whenever I build new mecha these days. I can find any part within a few seconds. The other upside being that I know how many of a (...) (23 years ago, 12-Dec-01, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto, lugnet.storage)

Re: November 3rd, 2001 Followup-another one for the books

(...) I found the kid-sized Rolykits at Good Will of all places for around $1-$1.50 each. After a very thorough scrubbing, they were ready to store parts. The larger versions can be found in K-Mart for around $20. The bigger ones resemble a toolbox (...) (23 years ago, 19-Nov-01, to lugnet.storage)

  A5 & A6 size instructions storage

I am using A4 sized sheet protectors to store the larger instruction books. I would like to store the smaller instructions in the same binder, but it seems wasteful to put them in an A4 sized sheet protector. Does anyone know if A4 sized sheet (...) (23 years ago, 17-Nov-01, to lugnet.storage)

  Re: Help me! :(

(...) I would recommend against the drawer mechanism. The reason... scalability. It seems that you are running into that problem now with your current sorting mechanism. With the drawers you'll quickly find that no drawer is large enough for certain (...) (23 years ago, 15-Nov-01, to lugnet.storage)
