Actually in the catalog it notes that all the minifig sets *except* for the one
with Chewbacca are unique. The one with Luke, Fett, and Solo: Han Solo's pants are
unique (they're blue in the MF).

When I received my fig packs all the packaging stated "Contains Unique Minifigure" or something to that effect. there's (...) (25 years ago, 24-Aug-00, to lugnet.starwars)
