Certainly.  :^)

Tramp Freighters is one of my favorite  Star Wars RPG books. I think it's
actually useful for more than just the RPG itself. There are many features
in the book that I find useful, such as:

- Upgrade information (cost, availablility,  legality)

This would be useful mainly as info for a webpage describing the
features of your MOC freighters

- Information on Imperial customs procedures, as well as Imperial
vehicles used in customs enforcement.

This would also be useful in a similar respect... if only TLG would
release some common Imperial troops/ Death Star Troopers.
Stormtroopers are supposed to be the elite shock troops, and the dudes
with black helmets and gray uniforms are supposed to be the grunts.

- Several examples of freighters and their captains, all with their own
array of mods and equipment.

Fun examples to help you with your background info.

- Interesting freighter designs with some variants on the YT-1300 that
seem to address space usage/ cargo concerns.

This, I think, is the most valuable in a pure building sense. There are
enough different examples to give you a good start on building lots of
different freighters. The fun part of building tramp freighers is the fact that
you can slap on some odd-colored parts to make it look like the captain
has "made a few personal modifications." Some of the information in the
book also can help you judge how big to make engines or laser cannons
depending on their respective power.

I think the info could be really helpful if you were to create a Lego MOC
series all based on freight running/smuggling and customs enforcement
in the Lego Space or Star Wars settings. I plan to buy a pack of the Rock
Raiders minifigs for use as tramp freighter crew members ... they have a
good "rough around the edges" look to them.  :^)

In any case, I think it's definitely worth the money, and it's one of the
less-expensive books in the SWRPG series (around $12-15 paperback I
think).

Mark,

These are great pictures ... would you be willing to give a personal
assessment of the book?  I'd love to hear what you thought, what its • good
points are, what's its shortcomings are ... all from a LEGO builder's
perspective.  Is it worth the $$??

questions intentionally left broad ;)
