Well if you are into different themes you could always use them for
log roadway, i.e. a roadway where the logs are cut down and then tied
together with rope. I believe that this was sometimes called a
"corduroy road" and was used to distribute the weight over a wider
area. That is what came to mind when I stacked 8 of them together
anyways. Or maybe try a pontoon bridge type look. It would be harder
to build a hill side out of them but that might be possible for some.
