(...) I recieved my Destroyer Droid yesterday from S@H and it took me alittle over 4 hours! The set itself is rather intimidating! Lots of pieces, 553 to be exact! I am not one for the modular design, so took all the bags and dumped them all in to a (...) (24 years ago, 12-Jan-00, to lugnet.starwars)

(...) Well, I like the Modular design, simply because it is easier to build the sets. I sort out all the parts now, whenever I build the set: For example: (URL) for parts drives me nuts. I guess I spent too many years building large models, trying (...) (24 years ago, 12-Jan-00, to lugnet.starwars)

I dump them all out into the box it came in and mix them up real well. I don't like the modular design at all and I wish Lego would stop it soon. Until then, I will just stir them up. After I mix them up, I sometimes sort all the pieces by color or (...) (24 years ago, 12-Jan-00, to lugnet.starwars)

(...) I've tried building both ways. When I built the new Pit Droid I used the subassembly method. When I built the Destroyer Droid, I just dumped all the pieces into the box. Given that the Technic Pieces are so small to begin with and usually (...) (24 years ago, 12-Jan-00, to lugnet.starwars)
