Idea: Boycott the falcon —Jonathan Wilson
We should boycott that crap piece of junk that TLG is trying to pass off as a replica of one of the greatest fictional spacecraft of all time. -- Jonathan Wilson wilsonj@xoommail.com (URL) (25 years ago, 23-Oct-99, to lugnet.starwars)

(...) Oh,has anyone tried my Episode 1 C-3P0 and blaster ideas? You won't be disapponited. (25 years ago, 24-Oct-99, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: Idea: Boycott the falcon —Jason Small
Well, I think this falcon picture has created quite an uproar. I am confident this is not the final product. Of the sets i've seen on the outer rim site, only half were on the rebelscum site. The rebelscum pictures are from an actual lego catalog (...) (25 years ago, 24-Oct-99, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: Idea: Boycott the falcon —Greg Majewski
(...) base your opinions on. I agree, that photo does suck, but I'm just not buying that it's real. Greg "I don't want the world, I just want your half." Majewski (URL) (25 years ago, 24-Oct-99, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: Idea: Boycott the falcon —Matthew Miller
(...) I dunno; that's what I thought about the first X-wing photos. It turned out to be pretty accurate, although there were some significant improvements by the time the final models appeared. I don't know how much this one can be salvaged, though. (25 years ago, 25-Oct-99, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: Idea: Boycott the falcon —Geoff Hardy
(...) Yeah! Then when we're done and LEGO hasn't sold any, they'll throw their arms up in the air and say "Hey, obviously there is no interest in Star Wars legos... let's scrap the whole line!" I don't know about you, but I'm grateful for what I can (...) (25 years ago, 26-Oct-99, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: Idea: Boycott the falcon —Joel McKale
(...) I agree, atleast we finaly have real light sabres, not to mention smoked canopies, slopes, engines, wings, figs, guns ect... all these new elements come from these new sets. Anyways, what fun is it to build a Lego set, if it is already (...) (25 years ago, 26-Oct-99, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: Idea: Boycott the falcon —Geoff Hardy
(...) That reminds me.... it's been awhile since I bought a Town set or anything besides Star Wars LEGOs or Space Legos. What are all the references to juniorized pieces? Is this something new? or are we talking about the same thing they've been (...) (25 years ago, 26-Oct-99, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: Idea: Boycott the falcon —Jonathan Wilson
(...) Junorised pieces refer to parts like the new bay window pieces in the new town sets or the one piece car wheelbases from the new town sets. -- Jonathan Wilson wilsonj@xoommail.com (URL) (25 years ago, 26-Oct-99, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: Idea: Boycott the falcon —Tom Boucher
Instead of Juniorized they could be cost cutting measures, one piece vs 5 or 6? Who knows....there are days I think we're (as in the older lego crowd, 20+) just thinking 'that's the way it was and we liked it' (Dana Carvey's Grumpy Old Man) when we (...)
