(...) Now, shall we play the game of identifying the new parts on these sets? :-) The legs of the 8002 seem to be new, and there is a new 3x5 L-shaped liftarm with a curved arc on it. That set seems to be really good for parts. Fredrik (25 years ago, 16-Oct-99, to lugnet.starwars)

(...) So it's no wonder that the Technic Star Wars models turned out to be so great! If the 8002 operates like shown on the pictures, than it must be very good designed. (...) Right on! I can hardly wait. Fredrik (25 years ago, 17-Oct-99, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.technic)

(...) Wow. I have to admit, I had chalked that up to a troll. I don't suppose he's been able to produce scans of the other items he claims were in the catalog (Gungans with Kaadus, Slave I, etc)? eric (25 years ago, 16-Oct-99, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: Scans of the 2000 Technic Star Wars droids —Daniel Train
Wow! I'm definetly going to get that destroyer droid, although it strikes me most of it's the wrong colour. I can't wait to modify it. You know that destroyer droid you can get in the shops that opens into attack formation and starts to pummel you (...) (25 years ago, 16-Oct-99, to lugnet.starwars)

(...) Huw, hopefully you'll have a few more hits now that your site is mentioned at www.theouterrim.com. Everybody, they have an update on that list of 2000 SW sets, so go check it out; it's (currently) the third headline from the top. Joel (25 years ago, 18-Oct-99, to lugnet.starwars)
